About Us

Mission Statement

At YML Favored Care, we provide individualized, person-centered care for all of our residents. We demonstrate our commitment to care by fostering a safe and supportive environment that promotes independence and builds trust between caregivers and residents. Our home is welcoming to individuals with diverse challenges, including mental health needs, physical disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and dementia support. We believe in holistic care that addresses the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of each person. Our goal is to empower residents to achieve optimal health and well-being, extending beyond the absence of illness, and to promote autonomy in all aspects of their lives.

The YML Way

  • At YML, we demonstrate care by creating a safe environment for residents, promoting residents’ independence, and fostering trust in the caregiver-resident relationship. Our certified Caregivers provide comfort, listen attentively, deliver care with a positive attitude, and advocate for residents’ needs.

Moreover, we do understand that providing emotional support, recognizing and responding to residents’ emotional needs, and organizing resident-centered care that heeds the cultural context of the individual is equally important.

At YML, we recognize the importance of good care, we cultivate a culture of compassion, empathy, and support for both our residents and their families. It is the kind of care we provide that enhances the overall quality of life and contributes to the happiness and fulfillment of all our residents.

Our care encompasses a wide range of actions and behaviors aimed at promoting the well-being of our residents. It involves providing physical, emotional, and psychological support to individuals in need. We show our care in diverse ways, such as helping with daily activities, listening attentively, providing emotional support, and respecting the resident’s dignity and privacy.
